COMMUNICATION THEORY: DIVING INTO COMMUNICATION WAY OF THINKING

Image
COMMUNICATION THEORY: DIVING INTO COMMUNICATION WAY OF THINKING Communication Theory is a field of study that explores how people communicate with one another. It is a broad field that encompasses many different theories and approaches. Some of the key theories in Communication Theory include the Social Penetration Theory, the Social Exchange Theory, and the Symbolic Interactionism Theory. In my opinion, Communication Theory is an incredibly important field of study. Effective communication is essential for building strong relationships, both personal and professional. Communication Theory can help us understand how to communicate more effectively, how to listen better, and how to build stronger connections with others.   One of the things I find most interesting about Communication Theory is how it can be applied to so many different areas of life. Singapore Escapade 2022: Travel goals achieved!

Image
When I was young, I've always dreamed of visiting other countries together with my family, thus 2022 is my biggest plot twist. Singapore, commonly known for the merlion statue was one of the deep attraction of this country. If you won't visit the lion, your stay in Singapore isn't enough. Arrival at Changi Airport When we first arrived at the airport, I was mesmerized by the cleanliness and efficiency of the immigration process. It was a breeze, and we couldn't have asked for a smoother welcome to Singapore. The airport itself felt like a mini city, bustling with shops, restaurants, and even a butterfly garden. It was a unique experience that set the mood for our adventure. A short visit to Malaysia We left for Malaysia the next morning in order to attend my brother's conferment ceremony, which was the main purpose for our trip. The close proximity of the Malaysian and Singaporean borders impressed me. Alth

Last September 30, Ms. Pamela Mariz Geminiano, a DILG Information Officer III in CAR, gave us, communication practitioners, an extremely important discussion about how we could successfully manage our social media by abiding by the netiquette that is in place.  During her first minutes, she asked why are people used or in social media? I stop on track as I tries to ask myself, except for communication for loved ones, why am I always in social media? Then, there I realized that social media plays a pivotal role in every individual in today’s generation. A question that I asked myself, “Can I live without mobile phone, internet and social media”?  One of the most significant channels for the dissemination of information nowadays is social media. Well, it truly has the effect of allowing us to use it without having to make an effort to get a physical newspaper for daily news since it enables us to just browse through our newsfeed and, with just one click, stay up to date with the most rec

Start of a blogging era: Vigan City

It is amazing that no matter how tough life can be, we are able to enjoy our life, seize the moment and create memories that will last a lifetime. It was magnificent to be able to visit this historically known place, the City of Vigan in Ilocos Sur! Had been very curious about their famous delicacies and products, and it really was satisfiable to taste their unresistable longganisa, bagnet and bibingka. #Travel #TaraNa!
